Matt’s psychotherapy practice is friendly towards youth, families, couples, expatriates, aged, migrant and LGBT+ populations. His background is multicultural. He believes in walking with each client in their journey, with non-judgemental and empathic listening, and working together to fulfil their needs. He has been in this helping profession for more than a decade.

As a professional psychotherapist, he practises what he preaches- continuously seeking ways to lead a more fulfilling and well-meaning life in himself. This means building on mindfulness practises and positive habits, which he can work on during the counselling sessions.

I employ a thoughtful, integrative approach that is grounded in person-centred therapy while also incorporating some behavioural or psychodynamic techniques. I find that when support is offered through empathic listening in a non-judgemental setting, a client can truly transform and build trust not only in me, but in themselves. When a client is transformed, so is the therapist and therapy is a learning process for both parties in the alliance.
